Christmas Holidays

Perhaps it is when too many people are thinking in Japan as a vacation. But time itself and much to be seen. From my personal point of view, Hiroshima is a compulsory visit when traveling to Japan. For see how life has gone, like the work and effort to get the difference, it’s worth.

But it is also a place to remember one of the saddest events in recent history. The Hiroshima bomb caused thousands of deaths immediately and many more in subsequent years because of radiation.

There is a square, Heiwa-koen or Peace Memorial Park, which symbolizes everything that happened in August 1945. There are three key areas. One is reminded of all the victims, other children and a third to the Korean victims. Few remember that 10% of the victims were of that nationality and were working there, obviously against their will.
