When thinking about a trip to India, probably think that what we see are contrasts and so literally. It is a country where abject poverty is lived daily, but where economic growth is palpable. The oldest traditions are to the surface and a world of knowledge and technology emerges with great force. That’s India, wisdom, poverty, growth, pain and hope.

If there is a place where the contrast is felt all the time, is Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. And a particular location allows us to experience those differences is in Mulliken Ghat, a stunning flower market.
